Stone Services sets the standard for customer satisfaction
June 10, 2008

Stone Services of Chattanooga puts customer care at the top of the list for successful business model.

Chattanooga, Tennessee (AdGal Marketing) June 10, 2008 -- Since opening the doors of Stone Services in 2004, Tony Allen and partner Keith Porter have been setting the standard by which all businesses should operate - they treat their customers as they would like to be treated themselves.

“We want our customers to have a positive experience from beginning to end when working with Stone Services,” said Allen.

Drawing on deep roots in the construction industry, the staff at Stone Services offers years of experience in creating comfortable and unique living spaces. So when the opportunity arose for Allen and Porter to hone their expertise in one area of that industry, natural stone surfaces, they brought with them the knowledge and experience of creative home design, construction and scheduling.

Stones Services began in Chattanooga in June 2004 in a 6400 sq. ft. building with four employees. They recently purchased a new 28,000 sq. ft. building and now employ a staff of 26. Their remarkable growth can be attributed to the company’s dedication to detail.

“A business can be two of three things,” said Allen, “good, fast and cheap. You can have a combination of any two, but you can’t have all three; we chose the first two. Anyone can sell cheap, but we offer the best product and services we possibly can and pride ourselves on our fast turnaround.

Nothing matches the beauty, feel and longevity of natural stone surfaces and because stone is formed by nature, each piece has its own unique characteristics making your project one-of-a-kind. At Stone Services, you can choose your own specific piece of granite, marble or other stone from a clean, well lit warehouse filled with products from around the world, including Italy, Brazil and South Africa.

“A stone countertop literally comes from a rock taken out of the earth,” said Allen, “it is sliced like a loaf of bread, polished, loaded in containers. The slabs float half-way around the world, arrive at a distribution center and then to our fabrication shop where we measure, cut, polish and install in your home with precision.”

Stone can be used in a variety of venues including indoor and outdoor kitchens, baths, fireplaces, and wet bars. The versatility and durability of this natural product makes it an ideal choice for active lifestyles.

“You should not be afraid to use stone surfaces,” said Allen, “they are tough and long-lasting while still offering a lifetime of beauty to the home.”
